OUR HISTORY
At Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), our journey began with a groundbreaking idea: using hydrogen peroxide for device sterilization. Founded in Texas in 1987, we’ve been at the forefront of low-temperature sterilization technology ever since.
Our flagship product, the STERRAD™ 100 System, revolutionized medical device sterilization. Cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1993, this system diffuses hydrogen peroxide vapor into a chamber, transforming it into a low-temperature plasma state through electromagnetic energy.
The result? Safe, rapid sterilization of medical instruments and materials, without toxic residues.
But we didn’t stop there. Over the years, we’ve continued to innovate:
1. STERRAD NX™ System (2005): Designed for general medical instruments, this system introduced the Standard cycle and the Flex cycle for single-channel flexible endoscopes.
2. STERRAD™ 100NX System (2007): Building on our success, we enhanced this system with an EXPRESS Cycle compatible with the Intuitive Surgical™ da Vinci™ Surgical Endoscope and a DUO Cycle validated for flexible scopes and cameras.
3. ALLClear™ Technology (2016-2017): Our software upgrade reduced cycle cancellations, improved connectivity to the ASP ACCESS™ Data Station, and provided on-screen guides for better compliance.

Our unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability drives our actions.
